Last night the art world came out to celebrate the unveiling of a new, amazing piece of public art-- the light fountain at Rockerfeller Center designed by British artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster. Hot cider was served out on the plaza, following a British-themed after party at a loft overlooking St Patty's and the fountain, that was attended by the likes of Tara Subkoff, Marc Ecko, Casey Spooner, Jeffrey Deitch and other movers and shakers in the contemporary art world. Art scenesters make some interesting fashion statements. Totally devoid of any of the trend info we see at fashion parties, there were some really cool/weird looks at last night's parties.
