What are your best selling classifications or trends right now?
There are currently two major trends which we are doing very well with right now. First and foremost is embellishment.  Product with studs, crystals, resin coating, embroidery and foil are really working well right now, but done in a clean way. At the same time we are experiencing a “back to the basics” look, with an eco-friendly twist! The Go-Green movement is in full force for Spring 2008.

What classifications or trends are you expecting to be big for fall 2008?
For fall we are anticipating a fusion of skate, street, and preppy looks. It’s a term we have coined, called “Neo-Urban”. We believe that with the downfall of the urban market, and the rise of design conscious street kids, “Neo-Urban” looks will distinguish a sophisticated dresser from the norm. Be prepared to see striped polos over graphic tees, cardigan sweaters finished off with leather jackets and tailored bottoms, with an edge… This classification is the love child of Punk and Hip Hop, an unlikely marriage that seems to be making a lot of noise in the market.

What are your best selling classifications or trends right now?
Well, as for right now I guess ill talk about spring 08. This spring we should expect the a cleansing of graphics and prints. We have seen all that we can see in t-shirts. Our minds are dizzy with graphics and our stomachs nauseated by the saturation of ideas and never ending launch of new brands. Spring 08 will be the time to revisit modesty. A clear canvas to begin with dabs of calculated color and clean construction lines. We will be seeing a lot more muted colors such as mint greens, carnation pinks, and kona popped with corals and blues ranging from aqua to azure. We will begin to notice the reintroduction of color blocking which will carry us into the fall of 08.

What classifications or trends are you expecting to be big for fall 2008?

We anticipate fall will be about color and geometry. Taking it back to the moms and grandmom’s with the color coordination rules and jazzing it up with an interruption of unexpected colors added. The palette will be rich but sophisticated. Black is still black but color will take precedence. There will definitely be a strong reference to the 60’s but the we will feel some 70’s and 90’s as well. Definitely no 80’S! We had to kick them out for now. From the yellow/orange spectrum we will see colors like orange-red, mustard, amber, and pear, olive and lemon. Cobalt blue and red-violet will be great accent colors. Eggplant will be good too. But one last thing to remember is the PINE green. This color will will definitely compete very strongly with black. It may very well well replace the black stockings or bag, so pay attention cause its very subtle and appears black in low light. For a full f08 trend forecast check in with www.cyanatrendland.com in the next 2 weeks. We have shot the f08 editorial forecast and are preparing to release it these days.
