AnOther Magazine has teamed up with colette for a collaborative project called Off The Page, featuring a few of their favorite brands and designers. Peter Pilotto created a new print for an exclusive Mismo bag (left), Gareth Pugh reinvented Incase’s MacBook sleeve and iPhone shell with an ultra-graphic print, Raf Simons made a CD/DVD case and covered it in black leather and neoprene, Le Labo made a perfume with an ambergris base note scent, and colette created a candle inspired by the smell of freshly printed paper.  Much more than just “another” product. Buy it now at Colette.fr

PS: An English banknote designed by Jack & Dinos Chapman is hidden inside one copy of AnOther, sold at colette.

The Selby x Colette

News, Retail No Comments

The Selby and Colette have teamed up to create a totally eclectic pop-up shop, book, exhibit, and film. The pop-up shop is now online, with a weird array of stuff selected by people Todd Selby has photographed for his web site, items include a Selby tote bag, a framed Captain Beefhart poster, a bunny bank, a stuffed panda in a bag, books, and other random objets . The store just takes The Selby’s concept of exploring one’s personal space  and stuff to a new level by adding a consumer element and makes for a totally voyeuristic shopping experience. Check it out today.

COLETTE: RENOVATION UPDATE

News, Retail No Comments

We have already reported that Colette is currently renovating their store in Paris. Today they announced some features of the new renovated store and it for sure sounds intriguing and interesting.  "The will indeed is to ensure the first floor a broadened out area, not only dedicated to fashion, and also a more accessible space for streetwear, so dynamic today. Colette therefore contacted Japanese architect Masamichi Katayama / Wonderwall* to go over its ground floor and finally decided to let him redesign all three floors. A real challenge for him because of the limited time and existing space to work with. (Selectism)

More about the renovation plan after the jump.
