Just in time to cure anyone going through Olympic withdrawal — or to direct those of you still smarting from the devastating Team USA Hockey loss toward the less polarizing sport of alpine skiing — designer Johannes Faktotum has released his AW10 lookbook, an homage to the athletes from around the world who hit the slopes every four years in the name of glory. Comprised of interchangeable knitwear pieces, the collection is designed to fit close to the body and is double-knit to “provide structure, durability and insulation.” Extrafine merino wool is used throughout, with waterproofed nylon elements also applied to a hooded yoke and pair of drawstring shorts. As with the bold ski uniforms favored by Olympians, the collection uses heathered greys, black, royal blue, navy and green in blocked patterns to maximize the graphic effect. Have a look at some more from Faktotum below. (Steve Dool)
