If you’ve ever been to Capsule, or New York, or Rekjavik, or many many other places around the globe, you perhaps have crossed paths with Timo Weiland. Man about town would be a vast understatement, he works on an international level with a sunny disposition that nearly defrosts the icicles from the most stringent of cynics hearts. In the design world, Timo used to be Timo!, a line of graphic-heavy wallets that were lighthearted and kitsch. Exclamations have been put away and Timo, via Timo!, has become Timo Weiland, his eponymous label that continues to grow each season. For fall/winter, that growth comes in the form of Martin Greenfield suits and experimental fabrics like laced wool. The collection is most definitely in the upswing of a growth spurt, and finding its voice and footing, in the best ways possible.
